Can the maker please explan something? -I client checks if the newsletter is html or tekst but there is no possibility to make the emial for text and html; only one field not 2 -no double opt-in as is required by anti-spam regulation. 1-subscribe 2 get confirmation email 1 with link (html when sunscribed to html email and text when checked tekst news0 3-client clicks link get to link on site and gets confirmation he is subscribed now 4-get another defenitly subscribtion email 2: he is subscibed now in admin fields text: confirmation email 1 defenitly subscribtion email 2 text email for e-news fields html: confirmation email 1 defenitly subscribtion email 2 text email for e-news more? I was surprised this is not in oscommerce because this is common knowledge i thought... or am i totally wrong and is it all done automaticly cheking the text or html version will do for a client? From some other posts I've seen in the forums, it seems like we're not alone. A nice clean nesletter subscribtion contribution will be a hit. Email is the second best (after search engine optimization) any webmaster can do to promote his site! These days its even possible to define if a subscriber can receive html or tekst automatic, so a subscriber dont have to choose this. I will look if I can find this for you. Any 3rd party commercial product will probably not integrate into osCommerce without some programming and customization. I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with SendStudio. If SendStudio does all those things, and you can make it work the way you need it to with your osCommerce store, then by all means buy it! You'll most likely get commercial support, a product that's been well tested (at least theoretically), and is certainly going to be more polished than *this* particular contribution.
