Hi.. hope you can help me with this issue..

I`ve been working on my site for quite a while when i noticed today that when i put an attribute in the cart it adds TAX.. (again!?). That`s strange because all the prices on my site are including TAX (so i chose in Admin). And even weirder, when I put a product in the cart it doesn`t add TAX.. it just does with attributes !

Has anyone got a clue what to do?? I`m certainly not an expert.. and think I tried everything in Admin!

thanks in advance !

Adding the tax to and attribute will always double the tax. Tax is handled in the checkout process. Thus the prices for products and attributes are passed to the cart without tax the sum of which create the sub-total in checkout. In admin you can set the order the separate items, i.e. sub-total, shipping, tax and total appear on the finalized order . That is why the prices are past without tax, because the tax rate is then pulled from the db and the tax is recalculated, so it can appear separately on the order. I personally think that showing a product price with tax in product_info a bit deceptive unless a statement on that page explains that it is being done.

But I could be wrong
