Go to Admin -> Catalog -> Easy Populate It doesn't say go Catalog -> Admin -> Easy Populate So when I enter the URL into NEtscape it gives me a message saying that I do not have permission to view this file. 1quicksi
As I noted in my last reply... There is no root directory called admin. The only admin directory is under catalog. For many of the developers here English is their second language and there are many discrepencies when installing various contributions. No to mention the usual typos and added information that is not needed at times. knowledge base | Contributions | Search
Guest
I do believe you and thank you for all of your help :) Could you help me and tell me why I am getting permissions issues then? I cannot access the easypopulate.php or the catalog.php files without getting prompted by a login popup asking for my oscommerce authentication password and username... 1quicksi
I replied to this in another of your threads :) But to recap: Did you install a security contribution to protect the admin area? Or Did you use .htaccess to protect this area? Either would work recursively protecting the entire catalog/admin/ area. If you have not I do not know why you are being prompted and you really should look at protecting this area otherwise it is wide open to the world. knowledge base | Contributions | Search
Guest
.htaccess is enabled through my hosting provider, Netfirms. So you are assuming this is a netfirms issue... not a oscommerce issue?
