Percept Posted February 11, 2004 Share Posted February 11, 2004 Hi, I was installing one of the contributions to password protect the admin part but I messed up. Some files got overwritten which shouldn't have been ( didn't know which files exactly ) so I re-uploaded the admin directory but now I get the following error when I try to enter the admin panel. Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in public_html/adminstuff/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! The front end is still working. I'm assuming I have to change some settings in one of the files in the admin directory but I have no idea which one. Anyone able to help me with this ?
