thedavebaker Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 Hi, Just downloaded and installed osc on myWin2000 laptop to test (localhost). PHP 4.2.0 Apache 1.3.24 Everything seemed to install ok but when I click 'Checkout' from shopping cart page I lose my session details. When I hover my mouse over the Checkout button I can see that the URL doesn't include the session id. Tried storing session id's in files and database - but made no difference. I tried changing to force cookies = true - but then I receive an error in osc about my browser needing to support cookies. However, I have cookies enabled and they work fine on other sites (ie 5.5). I guess I have 2 questions: 1) why aren't cookies working for me? 2) without cookies, why is the session id not being passed from the shopping cart to the checkout page?
