About osCommerce features

Hi,

I'm looking for a open source shop which suits my needs and I hope to get some answers to my questions here ;-)

I need the following features:

- Can I import data from CSV-files?

- Can I implement groups of customers and give them individual discounts?

- Does the customer see "his" individula prices after log-in?

- Can I give my articles properties (i.e. dry/sweet, white/red etc - we're talking about wine here) and search and sort by these properties?

- Is it possible to give difernt prices for different amounts (20? for 6 bottles, 35? for 12 bottles etc)?

- Is it possible to create price categories (cheap. mid-price, expensive...) and show symbols for those categories instead of prices?

I would be very glad to get some answers, becaus it would be pretty much work to check different shops for these features all by myself...

So, thanks in advance

Matthias

Yes, believe its called 'seperate pricing per customer'.

Yes, they will.

Yes, basic material characteristics are implemented through 'attributes/options'.

No built-in search, use 'attribute search'

Yes, believe its called 'quantity price breaks per product'

The 'shop by price infobox' contribution comes close.

The bottom line, vanilla OSC does not have the functionality you mention out of the box, not without a hand full of contributions.

You will also need to consider some qa issues, especially -

a. integration testing (making sure they work together) and

b. regression testing (making sure they don't break one another)
