sohoportal.com
Hello, I'm investigating, for the first time, using OS Commerce for a client site. My client, at this time, only wishes to allow only email orders without credit card processing. In essence, the client wants to have full site functionality including shooping cart, but when the order is processed he only wants and email oder generated as he wants to call the client and process the credit card manually. Is this possible with OS COmmerce? Thank you for your help

♥ecartz
Install osCommerce. Go to admin > Modules > Payment > Credit Card. Read the settings and adjust as necessary. Note: you might want to add one of the contributions (there is a link to the Contributions area in the gray bar at the top of this page) that encrypt the credit card info before storing it in the database or emailing it to you. If your client wants to get the credit card details by phone, use the Check/Money Order module instead. Then edit includes/languages/english/modules/payment/moneyorder.php (replace english with another language if necessary) to include more appropriate wording. Hth, Matt Always back up before making changes.
