Anybody know how to "wire" flash links?

I have a cool flash navigation animation that I really want to use. It has the traditional links : home, account, cart, etc... When ever I link a button to a page, it fires up a new session. I can't seem to get the code to check for a session id and attach it to the URL.

Here is some code:

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="75" id="header movie" ALIGN="">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="header movie.swf" FlashVars="myURL='<?php if (isset($SID)) {print 'osCsid';}else{print tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL');} ?>'"><PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF> <EMBED src="header movie.swf" FlashVars="myURL='<?php if (isset($sesionstarted)) {print 'osCsid';}else{print tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL');} ?>'" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF  WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="75" NAME="header movie" ALIGN=""
TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED>
</OBJECT>

I think it should be like this.

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="75" id="header movie" ALIGN="">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="header movie.swf">
<PARAM NAME=FlashVars VALUE="myURL=<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL'); ?>">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>
<EMBED src="header movie.swf" FlashVars="myURL=<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL'); ?>" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF  WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="75" NAME="header movie" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED>
</OBJECT>
