Guest
Hi, I know there is already a NOChex module installed into Mile Stone 2 however NoChex offer a quick pay service (http://www.nochex.com/quicksend/). The jist of this is it allows you to pay a e-mail address directly with a debit card rather then having to sign up for a NO chex account to do it first. My knowledge of PHP is somewhat minimal, could the NOChex module be adapted to use this quick send feature? Maybe the e-mail address and amount areas could be automatically filled in so the user just sticks in his debit card details and the order goes through? And maybe in stead of saying No chex in the payment options it says "Debit card" Anyone have any thoughts on this? Cheers Lee
WickedCoolers
Are you using 2.2MS2? If so then the nochex.php file (catalog/includes/modules/payment) will already be setup to go to nochex.....checkout.dll (roughly line 30) Now all you have to do is apply for a EXTRA account with nochex to be able to accept the quick payments, enable the nochex module in admin and enter the address you want the money sent to and off you go :-) The email address and amount will be filled in automatically. As for changing the description to debit card, simply go to catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/nochex.php and change the relative information. Hope this helps. If for some reason it does not work I can post in my nochex.php file for you. The hardest thing in life is watching someone you love, love someone else. Guest
Yes I am using Milestone 2.2 and I have the NOCHEX module installed. Does this mean if the account is upgraded to an XTRA account people will automatically get but through to the quick send payment area with out me having to edit any files? Unless I want to change the text on the payment area? Will the user get called back to the site? To finish the check out process? Sorry for all the arward questions. WickedCoolers
If you had a standard account, the nochex checkout would just take you to a standard login page for the customer but if you are xtra enabled then it will take you to a login page which also lets customers pay without an account (a limit of ?100 applies) As for getting called back - Yes, once the customer completes the payment the nochex server will relay that information to your site which will complete the order process. So far it has proved full-proof for me for the last year unlike paypal which is tempramental. No probs...I had to ask the same questions when I started out :-) Ray The hardest thing in life is watching someone you love, love someone else.
