Guest Posted February 8, 2004 Share Posted February 8, 2004 why would you want to do that? what if a customer rescinds their authorization for the credit card payment, you have no way of contacting them, let alone verifying that the address you are shipping to is in the area code where they say they are. stolen credit cards could do these kinds of things. also age, by law an individual has to be 18 to own/use a credit card, thus if they put their age in as over 18, you have done what you were supposed to. if you remove that, then you have no way of verifying that they are 18, although people can put in what they desire, at least again you have tried. if you still desire to change these you can go into create_account.php and where it is checking to see if anything is entered in those fields, you can change that around and whatever you dont require would not be.
