However, after I place products in the shopping chart and check them out the shipping calculates properly but not the taxes. What step have I missed? salesman Posted February 7, 2004 Author Share Posted February 7, 2004 In case anyone needs to know, I changed the values in the application_top.php file back and forth between true and false and I setup the tax structure using the Admin Guide. Unlike other users, My taxes are not being addes to the price and taxes are not being added on the checkout screen. I'm lost and need some help. Thank to anyone that can help me out. bongo Posted February 16, 2004 Share Posted February 16, 2004 You need to take a look at how your zones are set up - make sure the taxes are set to the right one. Guest Posted February 28, 2004 Share Posted February 28, 2004 :huh: I have one of these stores up and running great and have put 2 more up but they co not figures TAXES... I am lost here, I have read every forum help only to find no help and I have duplicated everything from the store that is running great to the stores that are not computing the taxes and the just will not do the taxes. Can somebody please help?? I really loved oscommerce at first but this is really starting to frustrate me... Dakota Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 I had the same problem and couldn't think of anything else to change until I just noticed that my home state was set incorrectly hence no tax. I have two more problems still. Tax is being applied to shipping. This is not the norm here in the US. How do I fix it? Another thing, it is blank to the left of tax amount.
