go2pub
Well I'm not sure if my title 'can't upload images' is quite correct, because sometimes the images do upload but I just cant see them. I'm totally stumped on this one, the site was working fine a few days ago. All the previous images which where uploaded before the problem seem to be working fine. I don't know what to do. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Nigel
go2pub
I'm running CVS 2.2 I think an upgrade to MS2 would cure my problem but I don't know how to import the database. Anyone any idea ?????
danix
If you uploaded a contrib using tar -xvpf (preserve permissions) that changed the dir permissions on the images subdir, that could be it. It seems that my images dir needs to be mode 777 in order to upload.
go2pub
Thanks for that. I don't think I uploaded anything, I checked and my image directory is set to 777. I really don't know what to do. Any other suggestions??
go2pub
I added a test product with an image, the path to the image place holder was 'http://mydomain.co.uk/shop/images/Array' I then tried again and the path was correct??? 'http://mydomain.co.uk/shop/images/logo.gif' but when I checked the uploaded image was sized 0kb ???
danix
How are you uploading the image? manually using ftp, or some other way via the browser?
go2pub
I'm uploading the images via the osc admin centre, If I add the product and manually upload the image via ftp it still isn't seen. Thanks Nigel
