btaneja
Yes, just create a subdirectory and install in there. You will have to create a new database for this new install. You can backup and restore to this new database. -bt
mr.eyetee
this probably is a stupid question but i need to know. :P how do i create a new database? another question is, i'm using dreamweaver to upload the new osc, but i'm getting a lot of error messages like cannot put btn_date1_over.gif. is dreamweaver a problem or do i need to use something else? 1quicksi
You will need access to phpMyAdmin to create a new database OR if you have command line access you can do it from there as well (more difficult) Never used DreamWeaver. Might want to use CuteFTP or WuFTP or simular FTP program. knowledge base | Contributions | Search

mr.eyetee
yeah i am behind a firewall. but i managed to get everything uploaded to the server. now i'm having a problem with the installation. in step 2, i input all the info that i know and i'm gettting an Access denied for user. is there something i'm forgetting? i created a new database but that isn't helping either.
