karenkitten Posted February 5, 2004 Share Posted February 5, 2004 Have a problem with images that have been converted for web use not displaying on my host site. Package used to do conversion is Graphic Conversion X V4.9. At first thought it was a problem with settings at isp. Not the case, as uploaded converted image in a straight html file and works ok. However when same image is put in the appropriate image directory is does not show up on site. Furthermore the converted image does show up ok when hosted on my server. If I don't convert images, the image files range from around 32k to 60k, which at the moment makes the image directory a huge 6.4mb. For the time being I am leaving the images unconverted, but this does slow down the loading of the site. Very frustrating for the consumer and very very frustrating for me if they get fed up waiting for it to load. Perhaps the php settings at the host server?
