Online Ticket Selling

Hi All,

I have been reading through the forums lately in regards to my recent setup of osC and now it has come to the time when I must make myy own post..

I wish to use osC to sell tickets to shows and events online. I have searched for a contribution that would fit this style of selling, but have come up with no results so it looks like I'm going to have to program this functionality in my self..

This is why I have come to you all, in hopes of saving some potential headaches... The main 1st function of this module would be to send a confirmation # when a product out of the Tickets category is purchased(like buying airline tickets kinda). This number would then be presented to a will call booth at the event.. The will call could then match up this number with information such as name and address if needed and confirm that the person in question. Obviously, I do not wish to send a confirmation number until a purchase is actually made. which would lead my to conclude that checkout_process and checkout_success would be the files that i should be working on.

My question would be this.. How would I grab all the products that were just purchased and run through them checking their catgories and when a succesful category check has been made (tickets) display a random #.

So more importantly, after the purchase is there an array of the products just purchased?

If there is a contribution for online ticket selling in this manner and I have just overlooked it any pointing in the right direction would be very helpful.. Thanks!

Are you referring to the online ticket selling module or the part about the arrays and grabbing products already bought ? I have honestly searched up down left and right, if I'm still missing it , would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?
