How to remove a module?

Hi-

How do I/you remove an out-of-date module? I have no plans to upgrade the Beanstream payment module to work with the current version.

I haven't gotten any response to my emails to Support, so I thought I'd try here instead.

Thanks,

-Mike

Hi Mike. I'm not sure how you remove your contributions but I founded out today that Beanstream is now offering support for OSC. Maybe make a link on your contribution to Beanstream site. www.beanstream.com

Hi Dave,

No one from oscommerce has bothered to respond to any of my emails I've sent. This is one of the reasons why I don't feel comfortable contributing to the oscommerce project any more.

I uploaded a text file to the oscommerce site in place of the newest module, so hopefully no more developers will be confused by it.

Glad to hear that Beanstream has its own version now.

Sorry, I should clarify---I was looking to remove a module from the Downloads area of the oscommerce.com site.

Oh, you can't remove contributions. You can only mark them out of date. Note: someone else might still be able to use the methods in your contribution to implement a contribution for something else.

Hth,

Matt

Always back up before making changes.
