Guest
A little history: - we modified the app with various contributions, and custom display changes. - during development of osC site, domain pointed to old site. - loaded the catalog using a temporary domain name (diamed.kgbinternet.com) - tested ssl first with a bogus cert, then bought a real one. - switched the domain name to point to KGB server (diamed.ca) as a redirect from the old host's DNS Now the problem: The catalog shows up without a problem, but on checkout (which uses the cert) we get "The connection was refused when attempting to contact www.diamed.ca." This uses https. Any ideas as to what might be wonky here? Thanks,
Guest
did you install your cert properly according to how your host needs it installed?
Guest
In fact, my host installed it himself. He's a very helpful guy!
OceanRanch
Sounds like you might have port 443 blocked on the firewall. Just a thought. Tom
Guest
Thanks for your help, guys. It turns out it was a problem with the IP address. When we went with the new cert he had to switch the IP address. It was a small difference. But it was diiferent. All better now.
