Simple Template System

I am using STS (Simple Template System) and when I looked into the code for sts_display_output I saw:

 

$template['myaccountlogoff'] = $template['myaccount'] . " | " . $template['logoff'];

 

I'm pretty sure that the $template makes the text for "my account" and "logoff" white....my problem is I have a white background. How do I make that text black, or better yet, make an entire new infobox for it?

 

All help is appreciated. (I'd much rather have a new infobox for it)
