You never know how much do you gain or if that broken hard disk came from provider A or B. You may try to make another program bt then it comes the need of integration. In the long run. We all know that oscommerce will become some kind of ERP and this is great news. There are some free ERPs but I'm afraid i would be really hard. So, what I suggest is thet there should be some kind of register of the supply side. I have 20 new Intel procesors by 120 $ each, here there is a list of serial numbers (that could be introduced with a barcode scanner) and the provider is XXXX. It does not seem to be a great effort. A few more tables: product_provider provider suppply order. supply_order_product. Not to many integration problems apart fron stock Now you can search what products are too long on your store. Where you earn money and where do yo loose it. It is really helpfull and I'm sure that ther would be a lot of contributions. ?what do you think of the idea?
