4 weeks? You should've come here about three weeks and five days ago.

I think the D:\ drive is already there. osC is reading from the server and finding it. The file install_7.php is looking for configure.php, which apparently doesn't exist. Look in your webspace for the catalog/includes/ directory, see if there's a file called configure.php. If not, get a fresh copy of it from the zip of osCommerce. Do the same for the directory catalog/admin/includes.

Thanks

I did look at the time for those files and they were there. I have now deleted everything of my server(put back what I need) down loaded a freash version and am about to reload it and try again.

I left it in the osc folder, that doesent work. Trying again.

Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. work.

I will let you know

Thanks

tyied again, got the same result. What is the "d:\"? where is it suposed to be? I can find it and I cant creat it. Why does it ask and/or look for it?

It comes up with it by its self saying

"The file to import must be located and named at:

d:/webspace/rotorswi/catalog/install/oscommerce.sql"

Where I have made it up on my computer and on the server, dosent make any difference. And at the end I get the message below and I cant go any further.

d:\ is on your server. Whether you can see it or not, it's there. What's on your computer doesn't really matter at this point.

Your configure.php files are there now, so that's an improvement. Your permissions are set too strictly. CHMOD them both to 777, then try again.

Look at the very top line of this screen for a link that says "wiki effort." Click on that and look for installation help - it's in there.
