tmh43
I want to state upfront I am not a programmer - so pardon me for what might be a dumb question. How do I change the background color? It is pink and several others have said to make the change in the style sheet. Ok...so I found the line it is in: BODY {background: #FFCCCC;color: #880000;margin: 0px;}A { color: #000000; Where is a list of the available colors I can insert in the #880000 space? And once I change the number, how does it get loaded on to the site? Do I simply change the entry and close the file and accept the change? Thanks, Tom Halsey
Guest
it would seem to me, your best bet at first would be to get some books on programming, one that is good is php and mysql, another would be on the basics of html programming (lots of free tutorials on the net) and then to install apache, php, mysql and osCommerce locally and experiment. or hire a programmer. http://internetmaster.com/installtutorial/index.htm

tmh43
Thanks for the suggestions..the link to the color sheet helped immensely. I don't have the smarts or the time to read bunches of books on programming..I am merely trying to tweak a website I bought. I appreciate your quick responses to help me.
