Varying Background colour of box headings

Hi,

 

Does anyone know of a relatively simple way of getting the background of the tables/box heads (Categories, Manufacturers, Whats New, Shopping Cart...etc) to display in a different colour, depending on what category is being view.

 

Each products picture in a category has the same background colour as the rest in the category, with the colour varying between categories. I want to replicate the colour scheme to the other blocks of colour on each page.

I use Top Style Pro for my css editor. It's amazing because its easy to find the class style color and quickly change it without memorizing the hex color #.
