giloth
I did mess around with the shopping_cart.php file and I did find a way to alter the shopping cart so if someone accidently changed the quantity to 2 or more it'd default back to 1, but if they go back and view the product they could hit the "add to shopping cart" button again, thus changing it to a quantity to two. My question is would it be possible to just completely remove the quantity section of the shopping cart and then if they put something in their shopping cart could I have it not display the "add item to cart" button again so they couldn't accidently make it a quantity of two? I know you can do the stock thing under configuration and I have done it, but it just doesn't seem very professional to have a quantity section at all when I don't need it. Guest
you can also set the quantity stock level to 1 and then set allow checkout with no stock to no. then they cant add anymore to the cart. downside to some of this, what if someone ads to cart and then wanders the site, another comes on, adds it to their cart and then checks out? giloth
This is what I've already done. I've added the quantity in stock to 1 and on the message if they enter more of the item they recieve a "Please change the quantity back to 1", but it just doesn't look very professional to me. I know there must be a way to do it, but I have yet to find any answers. Thanks anyway, Josh
