Text input for product

I need some way of allowing the customer to input text just before adding a product to their cart (product_info.php page). This would behave sort of like an attribute but rather than selecting it from a drop down box would be a text box.

 

The reason behind this is as follows.

The product is customised labels, i.e. the customer says what they want the label to say. So I need someway of capturing this. It seems as though I'm going to have to write my own mod. I've searched all over and there doesn't seem to be anything like this available? Any suggestions.

Go in the contributions section (click my signature) And do a search for option_type_feature_v1.6 contribution.it does exactly what you need
