However, I noticed it's an older version and not as user friendly as I hope the new one is. Will I still be able to use vdeck with the new version? Guest Posted January 27, 2004 Share Posted January 27, 2004 have no idea what vdeck is. lots of people have been having troubles with ipower, in the older version of osCommerce, PHP, etc. if at all possible, find someone better. My host had preview release 2.1 and it didn't work so well. Glad I ditched it for 2.2ms2 The Wiki Docs: Read them, live them and be thankful for them! I just came to the realization that I need to upgrade my version of oscommerce from the Preview Release 2.1 to 2.2ms2 Can anyone tell me if it is better to try and upgrade or should I just dump my install and start from scratch? The one thing I noticed in 2.1 that differs from 2.2 is that in 2.1 the "admin" and "catalog" directories are at the same level while in 2.2 the "admin" directory is nested under "catalog".
