Problem product list - the numbers are incorrect

when i click on one of my categories then i see this in the end of the productlist:

 

Porduct 0 tot 0 (van 4 producten) Result Pages: -4 -3 -2 -1 0 ...

 

 

You see that this is incorrect .............

 

Can someone help me ?

Is this a brand new install?

 

What version of osCommerce?

it is oscommerce ms2.2 and it is a existing install. it suddenlty rised up. I have also a problem with my orders that don't show up any more in the admin.

 

i thought that my problem was a commen problem.

Was working fine and then noticed that i could not see the orders anymore.

If its an existing install and the problem suddenly occured, then something must of changed - either in the code or the database. The question is what?

 

If the order is fine when it is first placed but disappears when the order status is changed, the problem might be with the orders_status table.

 

Can you browse the table through phpMyAdmin (or similar)?

 

If so, have a look at the order in the orders table and make a not of the orders_status field. Then check the orders_status table to make sure the record exists.

 

If any part of the required data for an order is missing it won't show via the orders display.

 

Have you got a backup of your database from before the problem starting?

 

If so, can you run a compare against the current database?

 

It might show where the problems are.
