At the moment I do not have SSL set up on the server and hence chose no to this option during the oscommerce setup. My question is is it ok to accect payments through my current oscommerce setup or do I need to install SSL first? p.s. I have not set up or signed onto any payment gateways yet. You really should use SSL if possible because many people don't want to list their name, address and phone number on an unsecured site. Keith What the hell was I thinkin'? If using oscommerce, then I am assuming you dont need to use any of their own shopping carts as oscommerce has its own built in. I have no idea where to get started implementing a payment gateway. I have a merchant account, so the next step is to get registered with one of the payment gateways, but dont know. can anyone recomend one? also are there any specific online guides to connecting oscommerce to a payment gateway, and is it quite simple to do? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
