Product Attributes

Hi All

 

I am in a major delima over this one! We have over 100 products and each will have around 15 attribues. It would take forever to add all the attributes in the admin for this and at the same time send my head into an uncontrollable downward spin...crash :(

 

I was thinking of an insert of some kind?

 

Has anyone found someting for this type of problem?

If you have these attributes in an access database, or some other database, you could import them in the php admin if you saved them in comma delimited format!

Interesting I was thinking along these lines, I was thinking of excel :) so have you done this?

 

I must be hoest, I have looked at the tables and it doesn't look that straightforward, becuase the attributes are related via another table.

 

Is there just one holding table for all the products? but then the next dilema becomes associating the number to the attribute so we would have to talk in numbers :( Please tell me I am wrong :)

The newest version of Easypopulate will allow you to use excel and save the doc as tab delimited then upload. You can add product attributes as well.
