reidab Posted January 26, 2004 Share Posted January 26, 2004 Hello to everyone! I'm looking to deploy osCommerce in the next few weeks in a major overhaul of a long-standing client's site. Because of the requirements that I have for the project, I anticipate needing to make quite a few changes to the standard codebase. From what I've read here on the forums, many changes are being made in MS3 that will create incompatibilities for current contributions and as I plan to submit most of the code that I write back to the community, I am wondering if I should start out with the current CVS version and keep my eye on the changelogs or if it would be worth waiting until the release of MS3. This may seem like a silly question but I've never used osCommerce before (though I'm no stranger to open source projects and PHP) and I'm trying to get a feel as to the progress towards MS3.
