tgray Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 Hi can anyone help, im a newbie at this, i installed osc on my host seemed to go ok, contents of the catolog folder was placed in the root directory "www.poolsbypost.co.uk" the admin side works ok but when you try to switch to the catalog i get 500 internal server error, additionaly 404 error, likewise when i type the url in i get the same message i know this has proberbly been posted before, but i cannot find the solution on the forums. any help in this matter would be greatly appreiciated yours thankfully Tony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You should read the wiki docs link in my signature are all the files there and are all the permissions correct, it says that your admin/index.php file does not exist No longer giving free advice. Ive checked the wiki docu to no avail, all files are present on the host, as i said earlier i can access the admin side of oscommerce and have made some changes to the products , i was wondering when i tried the url on a different computer it said domain name parked, is it possible the index file is just not being reconised.
