westkoast
Ok, so I've been using OSC for a while, and the one thing I cannot figure out is how to do product stock on an attribute. Lets say I have 10 pairs of shoes. 5 in XL and 5 in L. I sell the 5 XL, but it still says I have XL left because stock does not keep track of the attributes. What should I do about this? I need to read the rules more often...
westkoast
So, I'm about to try to atack this myself. In the past I have set up another table in the db, and i make the current product reference that table which the admin has control over, but I'd like to be able to track the stock through the decremented numbers with OSC. I need to read the rules more often...
westkoast
I've tried adding a new attribute to the attributes to hold the quantity of that particular item. However, now I'm not sure when to subtract one from the table. Should I do it in the very last step when the customer gets the confirmation page? I need to read the rules more often... westkoast
No, I didn't get it working. I found this before I got too deep: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...20entry298156 I'm not sure how well this works yet, as I've not used it. But It looks like it has potential I need to read the rules more often...
