jaterg
Hi, I had my site hacked and i'm looking for extra protection before setting up my store again. Looking on some information i see that Snort+Mysql+Acid is a very recommended solution for security issues. Has anyone tried it / recommend or has any comments about it? Thanks in advance. mattice
Snort is an IDS - ACID is the webbased interface (that uses mySQL) It has absolutely nothing to do with osCommerce (or any application) as it does not interact on that level - it is a Intrusion Detecting System. There are several good and detailed HOWTO's on the web on how to implement the three - http://www.snort.org/docs/snort_acid_rh9.pdf Regards Mattice "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
