Try and use those colours in the rest of your site, subtly. Just making certain text red doesn't make it come together. With your site part of SuperSonique.net which tell us it is a Graphic Design company amongst other things, I would be expecting great things. Its not doing it at the moment. Only thing I would consider changing at the moment is maybe reduce the size of the bevels on the side menus. About 1/4 of that size would make it look cleaner. Great start!
