Hi,

Besides selling merchandise that can be downloaded after purchasing, I would like to sell membership to a password-protected directory. Is this possible?

Also I was wondering if there is any accomodation for gift certificates?

Any input would be valued.

Thanks

There should be no problem selling membership to a password protected directory, this could be achieved by making the password info as a download only available after payment received and time limited or sent out as an email again once payment is received.

I may be having to do a similar thing myself for a client and the above were some but not all of the possible methods.

Thanks. for your help. So, if I understand you correctly, it is possible within OsCommerce to set it up so the program makes a zip file available once a credit card or paypal transaction has been approved?

I'm looking for a way to make one category password protected.

I'm not selling the membership but it will have 'adult' items in it so I don't want it available to the general public - buyers will have to email me for the password.

Any ideas how I can go about just password protecting one category?
