saundra
Whenever I try to change the text from osCommerce I get a parse error in english.php. I am not adding any ' or other characters in the text. I get this quite a lot, actually. For instance in english/checkout_success.php, if I try to add one word to the text (like change "...4 to 5 business days" to "1 business day") I get a parse error. Even when I go back and change the text back to what it was originally, the parse error is still there. I'm not changing anything between the ' ' except for text and I am not using any words that contain a ' (like don't). I have to ftp the original page up to the server in order to get it to work again.
Guest
What a strangely behaving error. Have you tried using different editors? ie notepad, wordpad, an html editor?
saundra
Yes - I've tried the file manager, and emacs on the server itself.
