sneakyimp Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 hi there: my client is demanding that i make united states the default country in my oscommerce install. i'm a bit wary about tackling this issue because of the crazy interconnection between zones, taxes, etc. al. Can any experienced person recommend the shortest way to get this implemented? also, for what it's worth, the way the site currently works is really clunky and needs improvement...you select a country (and other data) and then the page refreshes itself and there's really only some tiny warning that says you need to select a state or whatever. is there any way this could be done through javascript or some other way that didn't require a page refresh? or, if not, is there some way to alter the appearance of the page more dramatically...have the 'you must select a state' warning be larger/more prominent?
