It looks like it is setup to send mail using: localhost or 127.0.0.1 Now using sendmail my smtp options are set to my ip address xx.xx.xx.xx. where can I make the change 127.0.0.1 to use my ip xx.xx.xx.xx in oscommerce. any help would be great!!!! Guest Posted January 17, 2004 Share Posted January 17, 2004 are you doing this via a home system? or are you out on the net somewhere? most settings no change is necessary, if you are using windows then change has to be made, and if you are running this at a home computer which the mail actualy connects elsewhere to send/receive via smtp with authentication, then you will have lots of changes to do. I have the same problem -- In looking at the php.ini, I do not find a place to add the mailserver's ip. What should I be looking for?
