Lalla
I think I got thru the other errors, but now I'm getting this one Warning: mysql_connect(): Unknown MySQL Server Host 'db54b.pair.com ' (1) in /usr/www/users/lalla/books/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! I just upgraded last night with my host so that I could have the MySQL feature and I'm copying and pasting the info into OS and all goes well, then I click on the Catalog button and I get the above message. Thanks, Lalla
Guest
were you able to 'generate' the store via the installation? it appears it can not connect properly to your database, either username, database name, password, or pointer to server (most use localhost) is not working. you can also use your ip address or domain name if on the same server, however you will need to discuss that with your host. Lalla
everything seemed to work, until the page with the Catalog and ..ok, I can't think of the name of the other button! I did go in and change to Localhost, but now I get Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) Thanks! Lalla
