Lalla
HELP!! I don't know what i've done, but it's not working. Can i start the install all over again or will that be a problem? I read that I can use a tab delimited text file, so we're thinking everthing will work for us, so I up graded my host account to include the MySQL option. Then I changed whatever it said to 777. Then I got : Warning: mysql_connect(): Unknown MySQL Server Host 'db54b.pair.com ' (1) in /usr/www/users/lalla/books/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! when I changed the setting to 777, it came back with about 4 warnings, but at the bottom said successful... so I clicked continue and it came back with the above message. Now what??
greg6902
Your host may use something other than local host as the server name, you can try your ip address or contact your host and ask them what to use. Also you should be able to just re-install with no problems. But you will need to connect to your msql manager and create your datbase first. Guest
if you reinstall, you overwrite your database, just make sure that is what you want to do
