elgnim Posted January 16, 2004 Share Posted January 16, 2004 I have been working on a change to the UPS shipping sequence that allows each item in the shopping cart to be shipped (1) with insurance for the invoiced amount and (2) in its own separate box. My customer has a lot of large items and packing more than one product in the same box isn't possible. Today, I needed to check how the user had configured UPS shipping. When I went into the Shipping module configuration, only "Flat Rate", "Per Item", and "Table Rate" appeared. Does anyone have a quick explanation how this can occur? Thanks, :( Marc H. elgnim Posted February 19, 2004 Author Share Posted February 19, 2004 For what it's worth, I wasn't able to find any way to turn-on insurance, so I wrote my own code using UPS' algorithm, calculated the insurance based on invoiced value and added it to the quoted cost. When UPS came around to pick up the package, their calculated cost for shipping and insurance was the same as mine, so I let it go.
