What to you think? shortestories.com is a new web based short fiction publisher focusing on the ebook and PDA user. Content includes original literature fiction genre. Other likes: the rounded corners to all the boxes, the free offers, the green for the link hovers Dislikes: the yellow for some of the link hovers (guessing that you want to use all the colors in the very nice logo), the orange for 'welcome guest', the default gray for the pageheading. Looks better in IE than mozilla. Mozilla cuts off the background at the very edge of the main content box, throwing off the layout. I wanted a color that contrasted well with the black background and I didn?t think the green did, that is why I chose yellow (also because it is in the logo). For the pageheading, I tried to use the color of the buttons, but it was too much. I thought that the gray looked ok. I will try other colors for that, any suggestions? I know the default orange "welcome guest" has to go. I will probably just make it black. I tested the site on IE 6, Netscape 7 and Opera 7 and looked good on those browsers, I will have to download Mozila 1.6 and check it out. I wasn't trying to all of the colors in the logo, I just wanted to use colors that are in the logo. Thanks for the complement on the logo. It's amazing what you can do with GIMP. I did make the logo, but I didn't design it before hand. I was playing with GIMP and ended up makeing that ball. I thought that it would make a nice logo.
