Initial setup

I have set up osCommerce a couple times in the last few days and it all seems to work fine except, I am having trouble getting ssl to work.

 

I have never installed apache until this week. It went fine but I couldn't get the ssl all working with everything...

 

I was trying to get it working with apache 2.0.48. though

 

So on Windows...

 

What are most people using?

apache-ssl? which is at 1.3.28?

 

And if someone knows a good resource off hand that explains the settup of ssl on apache that would be great.

1.3.27 or 1.3.29 work well, using 2 is a bit tougher, some things dont work properly on windows

 

for ssl see the wiki documentation, and for how htaccess and ssl interact if you want to secure the admin folder,

I found one with ssl but am having trouble making a Certificate, have never been able to get ssl working on a windows machine yet, I'm sure mines a configuration error somewhere.
