Jack_mcs
If I display a category of products on my site, there is a link for the product to see more info and a box to adjust the quantity and add to the cart. If I am signed in and I click on the link for more info (it takes me to the product_info.php page) and add the item to the cart from there, everything works fine. But if I just adjust the quantity from that page (index.php) and select add to cart, I lose the SID and am asked to sign in before continuing. If I do sign in again, the order is there and it seems to work fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? mtimdog
Curious, do you have a link and test login info for your site or could you post the code for all of that form? It seems that the form is dropping your SID. Are you passing the SID through the link, storing it in a cookie, in mysql??
Jack_mcs
Yes, try go HERE and signing in with [email protected] / emailtest. Click on the Swat3 link and then add to cart and it will work. But just change the quantity on the above page and choose Add Selected Products to Cart and it will change. The option for the SID is to use mysql. mtimdog
I couldn't login with that info. I tried without logging in and something different happened. The form had the OscID correct in the page's html, but after clicking on the Add button, it added to the shopping cart and gave me a new OscID. I'm thinking it's trying to give the members a new OscID as well, but since that person is already logged it fails?? Not sure where to go from there. Jack_mcs
Sorry about the logging problem. I tried connecting the other day and found that my database had become corrupted. A fairly common problem accoridng the the posts here. Anyway, thanks for trying on this problem. I guess I'm just going to have to accept the fact that it won't work and hope that it doesn't frustrate my customers too much.
