I would like to be able to download the entire DB and edit it locally ( add products and delete them etc etc.) Is this possible? I access the DB though PHP myadmin and Cpanel. I tried to install a mysql server, which seems to work but i dont seem to be able to import the data in to a new database. Am i going about this the wrong way or can somebody let me know the best way to update it. I have no sql or mysql knowledge. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 go to the contribution section and read up on easy populate. also, you will want to see what version your host has installed on the server, to see if it is an older version of osCommerce or MS2. go to http://www.mysql.com and you can learn lots on mysql there, http://www.php.net will help with php. and of course, here on the Wiki documentation which is pretty good! remember, Search is your best friend here.
