Parsing error

Newbie here...I did a clean install..evrything appeared fine. The admin area is fine but when I click on the link to goto the catalog I get this error first:

 

Parse error: parse error in /vol/drive2/sites/site29/web/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 505

 

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_LANGUAGES/FILENAME_DEFAULT' (include_path='') in /vol/drive2/sites/site29/web/catalog/index.php on line 33

 

 

THen I get this error now:

 

Parse error: parse error in /vol/drive2/sites/site29/web/catalog/includes/functions/general.php on line 865

Im running this on a raq. I did a search and did not find this error.

go to catalog/includes/functions/general.php and at the end of the file put your cursor next to the last ?> hit delete and save. that will eliminate the white space causing the header error

Thank! That worked...No I can see the catalog. But now I cant get into the admin area.

 

 

I get another error.

 

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/.php' (include_path='') in /home/sites/site3/web/test/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 130

 

Then when I tried elimnating the extra space on this one...I get this error now:

 

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'includes/classes/navigation_history.php' (include_path='') in /home/sites/site3/web/test/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 126
