healthsmart Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 Have managed to change info on german and spanish start-up page but I always get the following error showing up Parse error: (parse error in /var/www/html/oscommerce2/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13). no matter what I do to the file. 241 Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 I would guess that you have placed your own text in where the default text was and that somewher in the text is a what's or it's change this instance of what's or any other instance that has an apostrophy to what\'s or it\'s that should do the trick the same can happen with other languages that use inflections No longer giving free advice. OceanRanch Posted January 10, 2004 Share Posted January 10, 2004 If you used the built in File Manager editor, then that's the culprit. You think you didn't make any changes but it removes some special characters. You may need to restore the english one and or use a different editor.
