CutAndPaste01
Just updated my client's store to MS2. Some lines in the admin area get repeated. See this screenshot. http://www.simon-finch.com/images/osadmin.jpg Any ideas how to fix this? tx, Simon
Guest
do you still have an original copy prior to upgrading? I perhaps would retry again. Also, what contributions did you have installed on the old version? the way I do an upgrade is to create a mirror copy of the database in another sql database and then load MS2 to a different folder, then run the upgrade via the install. CutAndPaste01
I've just noticed that I'm getting some problems in the Zones - there's none in the listing. I ran the upgrade script from a clean dir (having backed up my db!). I looked through the clean install oscommerce.sql file and there seems to be lots of stuff in there that has not made it into my upgraded db, even though I got the "upgrade complete" message. Where to from here? tx Simon
CutAndPaste01
Restored my old database. Gone into my clean install dir and ran the upgrade script again. It says its completed but below this I get 7 lines of this message "Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/my_clientdir/public_html/my_dir/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 45" The multiple repeats don't show now. It seems as if the db is not upgrading properly. How can I get all of the required upgrade info to work from the oscommerce.sql (e.g. the missing zones) without losing my existing data - products etc. The site is not live os the orders & customers can all be overwritten if required bu I'd like ot keep the products & categories etc. tx Simon
