World Pay Problem

Hi All

 

My site is working perfectly well except for one thing World Pay Module.

 

When I send in a test order all appears well until I look at my world pay statement.

 

The description is just showing purchased from (My Site) instead of a description of the actual products and associated attributes. Have I setup the world pay module wrong or is there something else I should have done so I can see the actual products the customer has bought

if i am not mistaken, any credit card processing is not shown to the merchant or to the customer. that comes from the program. ways around this are to view the customer orders. another way is to set the send additional email to an email address you have, ie [email protected] or [email protected] (providing they are real email address') and then you will get a copy of the order, as the customer does, and you can compare that to the orders in the admin panel

Thanks John I will try that. But it surely it must be possible to the product information to worldpay so it can be seen in the worldpay admin screen

you should move this thread to contributions on world pay and also search the thread there for an answer to your problem.

easiest thing to do is send extra order emails to a valid address. you are trying to make something very hard which doesnt need to be that way.

have you contacted worldpay to see what they accept for data? have you read thru the code to see what is sent to worldpay? if you would do that, you would see what i mean by it not getting transferred to worldpay at all. they could care less about what the customer is purchasing, all they want is a transaction number, name, address, cc info, amount.
