royalfunk Posted January 7, 2004 Share Posted January 7, 2004 We would like to use our model names for the products_id rather than an auto-incrementing number. I assume I would need to change the aspects of products_id accordingly, which I believe I have done. The site seems to recognize the product but when you click on the link to view the product_info page, there is an error. My question is basically... is there an easy way to use VARCHAR or another method to make the product_id a text string? Hope you guys can help, thanks!
