dooka Posted January 7, 2004 Share Posted January 7, 2004 [note: i've searched the forums and still haven't been able to fix this problem. after searching, these are the suggestions/fixes that i have found - but unfortunately, did not work for me] symptom: paypal fails to add shipping costs to the final total. this happens once a user is ready to pay with paypal. no problems, afaik, with other methods of payment. fix/comment/etc 1: in your admin control panel for your store, modules -> shipping -> paypal, 'Set Order Status' should be set to 'pending'. fix/comment/etc 2: some users comment that the total, with shipping, will be added on the second paypal screen. am i missing something? my own settings: i'm using paypal and 2checkout for payment options. shipping is through usps or ups. i'm using osc 2.2 milestone 2 thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
devosc Posted January 7, 2004 Share Posted January 7, 2004 First paypal screen will show: Amount: $0.01 USD Shipping & Handling: $5.00 USD The customer then logs in (This would for example give PayPal the chance to calculate the shipping cost based on your PayPal profile option settings, but in the above case the shipping calcuation is overriden by our osC's specified amount). Second screen will show: Amount: $0.01 USD Shipping & Handling: $5.00 USD Total Amount: $5.01 USD Now the customer confirms payment by clicking the 'pay' button. "Any fool can know.
